Who we are

Junior Culinary Team Canada is made up of some of the country’s most passionate and talented young chefs—future leaders of Canada’s culinary scene. Together, we represent the creativity, innovation, and teamwork that define Canadian cuisine on the world stage.

Our home base is the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in Edmonton, Alberta, where we train in state-of-the-art culinary labs and learning kitchens. As one of Canada’s top culinary schools, NAIT gives our team the perfect environment to learn, experiment, and push the boundaries of what’s possible in the kitchen.

With the incredible support of NAIT’s expert instructors and mentors, we’re proud to develop our skills and compete at the highest level of international competition. Every dish we create celebrates our Canadian roots, our diverse food culture, and our shared passion for excellence.
